I live in Saint Lucie County, Florida so I am willing to volunteer for projects related to my county. I also can conduct Massachusetts Vital Records lookups from 1850 to 1915.

I have been a researcher for 15 years and I specialize in Irish to Massachusetts Immigration, Naturalization and Obtaining Irish Citizenship by descent. I also conduct research for clients in Illinois and New England, and obtain Military Records and Presidential Memorial Certificates for family members of deceased veterans. My own research has brought me to Ireland and Slovakia. My website address is

Here is my bio:

Kelly Leary’s career as a genealogist and ancestral researcher began the day her 90-year-old grandfather made a request: Could she use her laptop to find out what had happened to his brother, George? His query set off a yearlong search into the circumstances of George Bartholomew Leary’s death. Not only did Kelly track down the death certificate, but she also uncovered her grandfather’s heritage, tracing his roots all the way back to Ireland in 1849.

On her grandfather’s 91st birthday, Kelly presented him with his life story—a binder of historic pictures, documents, and narratives. It was the beginning of a passion for Kelly, and the best birthday present her grandfather ever received.

Now, 15 years and dozens of ancestry searches later, Kelly knows documents, forms, and Internet resources inside and out, and she is always learning the latest techniques in genealogy research. Kelly takes the information she gathers about families and lineages and weaves together a story. She may guide you to the church where your great grandfather was baptized or tell you about a half-sister you never knew existed. Above all, Kelly reconnects you with your past.

Kelly is happiest when immersed in old documents, deciphering the mysterious lives of her clients’ ancestors. She backs her abilities with a Certificate in Genealogical Research and a Master’s in Business Administration. Kelly is also a member of the New England Historic and Genealogical Society, the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, and The Irish Ancestral Research Association.
